doing some of that hopeless romantic b.s. that I do. Then came across this original stuff.

I’m not sure if I like her (her facial expressions seem possibly effected), but then in one of the comments on one of her videos, there was a reference to this guy…

And I just cried like a baby. I remember being so scared of the dark as a child. And how my dad just told me to stop being a baby as he harumphed and shut the door on my dark room.

Then I found this because I thought she might be covering the same song.

It also affected me in a powerful way. A little different, but still the same.

And she’s amazing. Here’s one more from her.

Reminds me of Alain de Botton’s book “Art of Travel,“ where he describes planning the perfect vacation based on a picture postcard of a tropical island. He’s excited about it. Full of anticipation. Then he finally gets there. Sets himself up on that same beach with the same view as that postcard. But somehow it’s not perfect and he can’t figure out why. Then he realizes that he’s ruined the picture because he’s now in it.

I’m from L.A. too. But I don’t plan on ever going back. No need to when I’ve brought all my shit with me here.
